It was the 18th of September 2009, I took leave that day because my sister was coming home after quite sometime from Sabah, negeri di bawah bayu. Waiting at the airport and not sure what was her flight number, we heard that there was a bad storm and that flights were delayed.
So we decided to get something to eat. McDonalds was our first option, but we changed our minds after seeing the queues nearly reaching the entrance. It was the fasting month, and being the time to break-fast, fast food outlets were filled with muslims. We had no choice but to go to KFC, which was near the arrival hall.
This KFC outlet says that they only have limited menu, that is fine with me. But if you’re having a limited menu, shouldn’t you at least have everything that is on the menu? We wanted to order chicken pieces, but they did not have enough. Then we decided to go with KFC Zinger Bugger. We were told that we had to wait 15 minutes to get the burgers ready, no problem with that. 5 Minutes later, they get back to us saying that there isn’t any salad left. We had no choice but to accept that. As it is the price of the meals there are more expensive compare to the other KFC outlets. I believe that if there is lack of ingredients, they should at least give us a discount. We also ordered Mashed potatoes, my favourite and guess what, They were out of it.
This is very disappointing, limited menu is fine, but make sure you stock up enough, especially during peak time. Photos of the premises and the burger without the salad are attached below.
One more thing before I end this blog. Are the staff who are working at the KFC outlet well trained? They don’t seem to be friendly and don’t seem to understand proper English. To me they are quite rude, they were having their own conversation while serving customer.

I was at Carrefour Jalan Kapar a few days ago. While I was there, I bumped into this stick wafers which was on one of the racks along with the biscuits and chocolates. This wafer sticks were called “Cigarettes”. To me this should not be on the racks, expecially when childred are the main target audience for this product.
It sort of encourages them to smoke in the long run. Do have a look at the attached photo, would like to hear your comments.
