Christmas Fever

The xmas fever is here, most shopping complex in Malaysia are already starting to put up their christmas trees and decorations. Last friday I was at Sunway Pyramid area, they are also starting to set their decoration. Every year, from my taste, Sunway group seems to have the best decoration for Christmas Celebration.

My Brother’s Home Aquarium

I have always loved photography, but due to financial constraints, never had the change to own a powerful camera. Anyhow, my 3.2Mega Pixel Nokia 5610 Express Music Mobile Phone does do wonders sometimes. Below are the photographs of my brother’s fish tank in his room that he and his girlfriend, Jin Mei have come up with. They seem to but something new for the tank all the time, decoration, lights, fishes etc. Look at the fishes properly, some are see throught, some are colorful, some even look like a punk with their hairstyle (their fin).

The view of KL Twin Tower

Few weeks ago, A friend sent me link that mentioned Kuala Lumpur Town area is going to have a heavy downpour of snow due to the fact that KL will be at the peak of the equator. I had a great laugh at this article. He also had a photo of it, probably photoshopped it with white-snow. I happen to be in KL that night and guess what, there were no snow as predicted, but the whole of KL town was covered with a thick cloud that were just a few storeys above land. The clouds were quite low compared to the normal days, freaky. I managed to take a photo of the Petronas Twin Tower, Kuala Lumpur that night and below is the photo. The photo was taken using my 5610 Expressmusic Mobile Phone. Copyright is mine and you are free to use the photo as long as you have a link back to my website.

Cherating Trip

So my Cherating trip has been confirmed to be on the 5th of December. Flight has been rectified as 9.45am and when I reach the Kuantan Airport, there will be a pick up for me along with 3 other people from Vietnam, our front office system supplier. Briefing starts the next day, which is on a Sunday as we have to prepare everything before we start on Monday. Anyhow I will be able to get a replacement leave when I return in 2 or 3 weeks time for those days that I worked on Saturday and Sunday. This should also be a good trip not only for Business, but also to relax my mind from the Hectic life that I’ve been having the past few months.

Only today did I reliase that I have only applied for 2 Medical Leaves this year, It’s a great Improvement for me as the first year with the company I nearly finished all Medical Leave allocation (16 days). We will see where this takes me for the coming year.

I will also be blogging on my Cherating trip on places to visit and probably a little bit on my job itself. On my last trip there, I could only remember going to Kuantan town, Kemamman Town, Visited Legend Hotel, which is beside our hotel, Cherating Holiday Villa. I haven’t had the chance to visit Club Med, which is also one of the tourist favourite spots as they have great parties there throughout the year. If I managed to get a transport there, I would probably drive up to Kijal.

Twilight New Moon Review

Oh my god, I was so into watching this movie. But it started really slow, for about an hour I was suffering trying to concentrate on the movie. It was so slow moving, too much of speach. Only towards the ending were there some action,  infact I can recall only 2 scenes that were enterntaining in this movie.

The first was the scene when the werewolf had a fight, and the second was when the vampires were having some sort of meet up. It’s an interesting movie, but disappointing. I expected more from it. Would also like to hear what you thought about the movie.

Booked Tickets for New Moon

Guess what, I decided to join my colleagues after work today to watch Twilight the saga: New Moon. It should be fun since it’s been sometime when we chilled together. 4 of us are going, namely Syera from Accounts, Lily and Lilia from Sales. I usually book for the tickets online and pay them with my credit card, there’s a RM1 extra surcharge, but it’s ok because I tend to skip the long queues at the cinema. Especially for a newly launched movie. Tickets are priced at RM12 each and we are watching it at KLCC.

Twilight - New Moon

Few days ago I watch Twilight, the first of the saga. Something about vampire amazes me always. This is probably one movie that I should watch and review. Plan to watch it tommorow after work, but not sure whether tickets will be available. Anyway, will comment after watching the movie. In the meantime, do catch the trailer on www.apple.com/trailers.

2012 The Movie Review

Wow, looks like I should start a new blog category for movies and my opinion on them. The latest movie I went for was 2012. Watched this movie last saturday afternoon with my mum, brother and his girlfriend, Jin Mei.

The movie started in an Indian style, for a moment I thought this was an Indian movie. A sciencetist from India discovered that the there sun has a massive blast and causes our Earth’s core to heat up. This causes the earth’s crust to move, creating Tsunami, Earthquake and so on.

The Chinese are the one who comes up with a huge ship, or more like a watercraft to withstand the Tsunami. Arabs financed most of the project. I do not want to talk to much about the movie, but just to give you an idea here and there. To me it’s one of the best movies where all races get together, all government work together to survive this massive destruction.

To give a pointer out of 10, I would probably rate it as a 9. There were certain scenes where I was nearly in tears, it sort of plays with your emotion. Humour are also not forgotten, some scenes can be silly, but then again, I guess that’s what people are looking for.

To criticise the movie, it was probably very long winded, it felt that there were too much conversation and too little action. Some scenes seemed ridiculous and impossible.

Towards the end of the movie, when the cast started to appear, they played the theme song for that movie. And I could recognise his voice, It was no other than Adam Lambert, the American Idol second place winner (frankly, I thought he deserved the first place). Check out his video for the movie 2012 on youtube.

I did also go through other website for reviews on this movie, seems that many have mentioned this movie was not of their taste. Some even mentioned that the movie can be abit insulting. I guess some people just don’t know how to appreciate a good movie, and cannot accept the truth. Anyhow do go catch the movie and I would like to hear from you what you think about it.

Sister’s Back Home

Sunday was great, had the longest sleep ever in my history. Woke up at 3.30pm in the afternoon. I usually sleep longer, but knowing that my sister wanted me to pick her up at the LCCT Airport on her AirAsia flight, I had to wake up. We left the house at around 5.40pm, she was to arrive at 6.30 + 10 minutes for her to pick her luggages up. Thanks to my brother’s girlfriend, Jin Mei, she was kind enough to use her car as there was going to be 5 of us in it, and a Myvi wont not fit all of us, including the luggages.

We were about 5 minutes to the airport when my sister calls, just in time for her to collect her bags and meet us at the Arrival Hall at the LCCT Terminal. Perfect timing, no need to spend extra for parking.

Guess what’s the first thing that My Sister wanted? Fooood. After much argument, we decided to have our dinner at Berkeley’s Corner, they used to have the best Roti Naan in Klang area, but after yesterday’s meal there, I take my word back. The naan was practically not cooked properly, the sauce was tastless and the Tandoori chicken didn’t taste anything like it suppose to be. But one thing, their Mango Lassi still remains the best. The Tomyum wasn’t too bad, we ordered the seafood tomyum, and it came with alot of prawn, a few pieces of crab and vegetables.

At night, we were just chilling at home watching some movies while my sister unloads her bags. She bought some interesting antique carry case, more for women for my mum, an aunty and Jin Mei, my brother’s girlfriend. She also wanted me to tune her Violin, so I’ll be busy youtubing today on how to do that.

This morning when I left work, my sister was still asleep, I guess she was too tired to follow mum to work today. Today if everything goes well, I should be catching up with some badminton, and I heard that my sister has been training alot. So that was my sunday, hopefully I have the time to update my blog about my night out on Friday to celebrate Kuhan’s Birthday.
