Nothing can make me happier than the return of my sister. The last she came down from Sabah was during Diwali. She will be here again for the year end school holidays and this time she’s going to be here for more than a month. We’ve already planned a few things to do. The best is going to be our trip together to Bangkok mid of next year.

I still remember most of the childhood things that we used to do together. We use to team up and bully my younger brother alot, in cops and robbers etc. I will probably write a full blog on her one day. She still remains the person that I love the most.

Facebook.com is a medium that benifits both the creator and also those who are using it. Social media advertising can be very cost effective and give you very good returns, targetting selected group of people.

But used wrongly it can be dangerous. It can be addictive. I used to spend so many hours during my time at home playing those games, whether being Happy Farm, Farmville, Mob Wars, Mafia, Bejewelled, just name it, I’ve tried all of them. But we gain nothing by hits for the owner of the website. He is the one who is gaining all the money while we waste time.

After much consideration, I’ve decided to set my mind in not installing another useless application on my facebook account. Yesterday I deleted all the application, all 115 of them that was on my facebook. All of a sudden, I’ve got ample of time for my daily routines. If you want to know, currently there are only 2 games that I follow, namely Bejewelled and Texas Hold’em Poker.

I bet many, infact most facebookers out there are addicted to facebook. Make a change and be responsible.

I just made a booking for the movie 2012 for saturday at 3.30pm. Going to watch that movie with my mum, brother and his girlfriend, Tan Jin Mei. Hopefully it is as good at is sounds, anyway most of my friends who have watched it gave good comments. Will update this blog again on monday about the movie, stay tuned.

You would have realised that some of my blogs has advertisements. This could be annoying at times, but to me they are not to bad. They are in the form of a standard size banner add, and may not be that distracting. The purpose of these advertisements are that they generate certain amount of income for my website when someone clicks on it. It may not be alot, but on the long run can generate enough for me to maintain this blog.

At the moment I’m using Google Adsense and have generated around USD20 in a duration of 2 years. This is fairly low, but I believe when www.Thristhan.com receives more visitors, it will generate more income.

For our local Malaysian market, I did hear about this service called NuffNang and can be accessed at www.nuffnang.com. I’m going to register for this and give it a try at my blog. Hopefully it will be on of the income stream for my online blog.

Have you guys tried out neopets.com? I registered for this website years ago during my college time. Only today did I realise that the account is still active, my pet is 3,000+ days old, meaning that I’ve been having this account for nearly 10 years now. Doesn’t time pass so fast?

One of my favourite games on that website is the Stock Market. You can buy and sell shares, watch them fluctuate. I used to be lucky at it, making thousands of neo cash :).
