Wow, Crystal Bowersox is doing a great job at the American Idol season 9. She’s been my favourite for a few weeks already and she has been upgrading herself every single week.

Crystal Bowersox
This week, the top 11, the judges gave her fantastic reviews. I believe if Crystal Bowersox maintains this, she’s going to be the next americal idol winner. She has something installed for us the coming week, and according to her, it’s going to surprise us.

On the other hand, I don’t understand why Andrew Garcia is still in the competition. He should have been kicked weeks ago. Anyways, the one that might be kicked out this week might be Paige Miles. We’ll find out later tonight.

The one leaving American Idol Season 9 tonight will not be able to make it for the American Idol Tour.

I stilll remember the earth hour 2009, I was on the way home. As soon as I got home, made sure that all the lights were turned off. Mum thought that I was crazy and too into this Earth Hour thingy. Infact many organisations also joined including our KL Petronas Twin Tower. Most lights were turned off for 1 hour, accept for a few important ones.
I do support the world coming together for a good deed. This year I’ll probably convince a few more friends to join this deed.
The Earth Hour first started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia. At that time 2.2 million people joined and turned all their lights off for 1 hour. In 2008, this became a world event and every year many countries join to conserve energy.
In March 2009, hundreds of millions of people took part in the third Earth Hour. Over 4000 cities in 88 countries officially switched off to pledge their support for the planet, making Earth Hour 2009 the world’s largest global climate change initiative.
This year, the Earth Hour will be held on the 27th of March 2010 between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.

- Earth Hour 2010
Earth Hour is organised by the WWF. Earth Hour has done a lot to raise awareness of climate change issues. But there’s more to it than switching off lights for one hour once a year. It’s all about giving people a voice on the future of our planet and working together to create a sustainable low carbon future for our planet.
As Michael Jackson once created a song, let’s together make a difference and “Heal The World”

This is one of the place that we visited when we were at Kota Bharu last week. It was called Tambatan Di Raja. At first, I thought this was a spelling mistake and It should have read Jambatan (Meaning bridge in Malay). But after checking with a colleague, he mentioned that Tambatan is an old Malay term for Jetty.
This place is where the Boats arrive for inspection. They are also currenty working on a 3 storey Immigration building. So the photos will show alot of constructions being going on.

There was also a boat at the Jetty at that moment. This place seemed to have a floating restaurant, but due to the construction works, it was closed that day.

Below are the remaining photos that I took at that location. I guess in about 3-4 years time, this whole place would be developed.

During my visit to Kota Bharu, dad took us to a cafe that was located opposite Marrybrown Kota Bharu. The place was simply known as Sim Gardens. The environment was quite nice, they had free Wireless (WiFi) access. Most of the that were at the cafe were college students. This is located in a town called the Pengkalan Chepa. Some of the other attractions around that area was the Pantai Timur super market, Pengkalan Chepa Pizza Hut and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, which explains the reason this place is flooded with College or University students.

The food there was not to expectation, according to my dad who was a regurlar to Sim Gardens, said that the food we had that night was not good. Probably it was done by a different cook. I ordered their Curry Mihoon, which costed RM6, and my mum had the Claypot Noodle, which was roughly RM8. Quite costly compared to KL, but with free WiFi and a good environment, we didn’t mind at all. They serve Ala Carte such as Prawn Mee, Fried Noodles, Pattaya Fried Rice and so on. This place is air-conditioned so it’s quite soothing. I don’t think you can smoke inside, though they had tables and chairs outside.

Sim Gardens is very near the Kota Bharu airport, not more than 5 minutes drive away. For those who are heading to the heart of Kota Bharu, this can be a good stop for food. This area does not feature what kelantan is famous for, their unique food or rather their Kelantanese Delights.
The next few photos are of Sim Gardens Interior.

Overall, based on the first time visit, I rate this place 5 out of 10 for the food and 8 out of 10 for the enviroment.
