Night Fishing
Posted in Events, Everyday Life, Just For Fun, Selangor on 07/13/2010 10:11 am byI realised that many bloggers, especially the top bloggers always talk about places of Interest that are very costly to visit. Alot of them talk about expensive restaurants, cafe’s and so on. But what about the mundane world that cannot afford all this places, what if you’re broke and you want something to do. That’s exactly what we did last weekend.
Our family, from dad to mum to bro and sis all enjoy Fishing. It’s an activity that is not very costly. You can start with only RM10 for a basic fishing line, or you can invest for a better rod that would probably cost something like RM100-RM150. This time I decided not to fish, but to take some photographs so that I can update my blog.
We usually use Prawn as bait, seems that certain type of bait, attract certain type of fishes. We can use prawn, worms, some use frog, small fish, or even as what my brother said, internal organs of chicken. Well, I realised that the Internal organs don’t work very well, probably because the fish find it tough eating a whole chunk of it. Best is Prawn as it’s cleaner when compared to worms, and the smell attracts the fishes. As back up, my brother also bought cockles (kerang). Very bloody indeed.
We decided to fish at a beach side that is located after Kapar town and just before Jeram (head towards Kuala Selangor from Klang). The beach is called Pantai Remis. On weekend there are many stalls that sell junkies and kites. We started fishing quite late, so only managed to do it for 15minutes or so. And there were no bites at all, so kinda demotivating. The water tide was going outward, which is probably why no fishes were at stake.
So for those who follow my blog, they will realise that most of the activities that I do are quite affordable and we always go on a budget. So do follow me for future updates.
