Boh Tea Plantation / Garden and Boh Tea Centre, Cameron Highlands
BOH Tea plantation who is based at Cameron Highlands at a place called Ringlet (Habu) and they are managed by BOH Plantations Sdn Bhd. Boh Tea is Malaysia’s largest producer of premium black teas and the country’s preferred brand. Their only competitor here in Cameron Highlands is probably Bharat Tea Cameron Valley.
BOH Tea Garden was establised in 1929 by a businessman named J.A Russell who had other businesses here in Malaysia such as Tin and Rubber industry. He realised the demand for Tea during that era and established the first tea garden here in Cameron Highlands. Today there are 2 main sectors that Boh Tea Plantation owns in Cameron Highlands.
The first time I went to Cameron Highlands, I remember taking some photos by the roadside at the plantation area of Tea, but this time, we managed to locate the Boh Production factory based at Ringlet which gave us the opportunity to understand the process in detail on how the Teas were produced. The BOH Tea Garden is open daily (except on Mondays) from 9am till 4.30pm, there is no entrance fees to this factory.
As we completed the tour around the BOH Factory, we were taken the Tea Shop where we were served with chilled 3 in 1 Ice Lemon Tea. For those who wish to purchase tea bags and other products by BOH, this is the place to be. They sell lower than the market price.
Now I’ve got a Trivia question for you. What does BOH stand for? Write your answers on the comment below.

[...] do drop by their Tea plantation valleys which they are famous for. The biggest player there is Boh Plantation, but recently there is another competitor who is good themself and they are known as Bharat Tea [...]
