Buka Puasa Ramadan Buffet in Subang Jaya

This year again a group of bloggers and travel writers have gathered to taste and endeavour the delicious spread of food at Holiday Villa Hotel & Suite Subang during this Ramadan month. They have selected 271 dishes for their Buka Puasa Buffet ranging from local Malaysian delicacies such as Beef Rendangs, Laksa, Noodle Soups, Curry Noodles, Beef Soup, Rojak, Popiah, Gulai Kawah, Fried Noodles, Prawn Sambal and many more. They also had a corner for Satay and lamb chops, fried chicken, briyani, kuih muih, ayam masak merah, kebabs, a huge range of desserts, cakes and their signature bread pudding. My favourite was the Oyster and Clamp corner where you get to taste freshly peeled oysters with lemon juice or thousand island sauce.

What I mentioned above is just a few of the dishes that comes to my mind at the moment. Eventhough there was 271 types of dishes being served at the Buka Puasa Ramadan Buffet at this Subang Jaya outlet, I only managed to endeavour a small portion of the variety. If you’re on a diet, you’ll probably have to cancel it immediately. While dining, the wifes, girlfriends or the ladies can do their clothes and garment shopping as there are stalls being setup for that too during the buka puasa ramadan buffet dinner.

To get to this hotel, you can use the KTM Train right up to Subang Jaya and from there take a cab to the Hotel. If you’re driving, your landmarks would include the Subang Jaya Parade, Subang Jaya Carrefour, Subang Jaya Medical Centre and also the Grand Dorsett Hotel.

Now the critical part is the pricing. How much would you expect to pay for a unlimited buffet buka puasa ramadan dinner like this? RM300? RM200? It only cost RM77++ for adults and RM57++, but if you go for the buka puasa ramadan dinner buffet on the last 3 days of the ramadan month, you’ll get to enjoy a 50% discount on the total price.
