Malacca as most of you would have already known is a special historic state in Malaysia, sometimes it is more commenly spelt with it’s Malay name as Melaka. One of the great things that you can do there in Malacca, especially at the Ayer Keroh area is trying out their Bullock Cart Ride. One whole bullock cart ride at Malacca cost only RM10 for one small round (roughly about 1 kilometer distant) and you can fit it about 5 people in one bullock cart.

We were kinda rushing for time during our Malacca roadtrip, so we only paid the bullock cart driver RM5 to let us take photographs with this attraction. The bullock cart ride in Malacca comes with two bulls with sharp horns. From what I experienced, the bulls were tame indeed and it allowed me to touch them without hesitating.

Bullock Cart were one of the main transportation medium years ago in Malaysia, but now it is more of a attraction. Probably because of the technology change and people are more aware towards animal cruelties. The bullock cart at Ayer Keroh is located very near the Crocodile Farm. At the same location, you can also try out the Go-Cart rides.

The cart itself is made out of wood, including the two huge wheels. So the next time if you’re getting hungry on some adventures hop down to Ayer Keroh Melaka and give the Bullock Carts a try. Other things that you can do at Malacca is to try their Menara Taming Sari ride, Taman Seribu Bunga (garden with thousands of flowers), Baba and Nyonya Heritage Museum, Durian Cendol, Jonker Street, Antique Shops and the Samudera Maritime Museum.
