What a perfect place to have a gathering with a bunch of fellow bloggers who have blogs that talk about many different topics. 2 particular people that I know well namely Henry who organised the event and Isaac who is a fellow food blogger. The rest, even meeting them for the first time, it was a superb experience.

Coffee Chemistry Cafe was the perfect location because they served a great selection of coffee. Graffeo Roasted coffee to be exact. Coffee Chemistry is the one and only sole distributor of this not too bitter and slightly sweet java in Malaysia. Me being a coffee lover myself, found the Espresso that they served here was done to perfection. Many people out there claim that they are coffee lovers, but they screw up the taste of the coffee by adding sugar and milk. I take my coffee straight up black perfect the way it is. Graffeo Dark Coffee is simply known as “Simply The World’s Finest Coffee”.

Johnson who is the owner of the cafe prepared a customised menu for us bloggers and of course at a lower discounted price. He also gave us a 30% on any coffee that we ordered. This is not Johnson’s first outlet, he infact opened the first Coffee Chemistry Cafe at Sunway Giza a couple of years back. The Coffee Chemistry Cafe at First Subang Mall was launched only 2 months ago. The crowd is slowly starting to pick up. What caught my eye was their Angus Beef Steak that comes with their In-house Signature Sauce. This prime New Zealand breed Angus beef which apparently is only served to VIP guest like myself was well prepared and quite tender and juicy. The waiter selected the rare Angus Beef Steak for me which turned out very good. Isaac also did mention that his Medium Rare Angus Beef Steak was pretty good as well. The Angus Beef Steak at Coffee Chemistry Signature Cafe comes with a mixed vegetable serving and potato wedges. The set was only at RM38 and it came with a serving of homemade iced lime juice. After speaking to Johnson, he mentioned that the regular price for this set could range RM60 onwards.

Hweeli, my best buddy ordered the Baked Chicken Chop with Homemade Mushroom Sauce which is perfectly baked with mixed herbs. This set only cost RM20 and came with a selection of Fruit Juice or iced lime juice. According to Hweeli, it did taste good. The whole cafe itself has a wonderful seating area with comfortable seats. You may also seat by the corridor and experience the hot weather outside.

In terms of coffee, their Espresso Coffee was superb and something that I would want to continue having. Starbucks, Dome and the other coffee outlets are just not my cup of coffee because they serve coffee which are too sweet. Would I come back to this place? Absolutely, and since I’m buddies with the owner, he’ll probably throw in a discount or two while I dine there.
