KTMB Is freaking Dangerous
Last saturday I had to take the KTM Berhad (Keretapi Tanah Melayu) which is a public train service in Malaysia from Klang to Kuala Lumpur to help with a function. While waiting for the train at Klang KTM Station, The train that stopped there was so many centimetres away from the platform. Passangers had to literally jump, about 12inches to get to the platform. There were also old people who struggled to get accross.
From my experience, the KTM services is getting from bad to worst. There are alot of trains that are not properly functioning. Infact tis particular train had to be pullled using an external locomotive because the main one wasn’t working. They also had to have another platform that hosted a Generator.
I understand that they are trying to become better, but I guess that they are just now trying hard enough.

KTMB is so Dangerous

Hello Thristhan, thank you for leaving such an encouraging comment in my blog. I’ve had personal experience with KTM, I took it once from Singapore back to KL, most of the time, I take it from my home town at Seremban back to KL too. My only opinion of it is it’s really vintage and gives me a warm snuggly feeling because it has the aura of old things that new items can never make you feel. Heritage you know? But I’ve never noticed the gaps in between the platform and the train before. You’re so observant! I guess it’ll be quite some time before the situation improves :l
Hate ktm max!!!
hadn’t it always been like that?
Yeah, unfortunately it has
I like the view as the train passes the forest from Seremban and Klang, was only complaining about their services and security. Infact their timing sux big time too.
Why is the gap so big?
gosh..wth.. ktmb..please upgrade!
i dont like using their service =/
really risky having KTM >< but last time when i had it, it’s not that big gap!!

Hi Thristhan,
Thanks for dropping by and leaving useful tips on my blog at dianatan.net on getting more traffic. Your blog is informative and has many photos to display. I love reading it.
The other day I was taking a KTM train to Shah Alam for an event. Seeing an electric train towed with a locomotive left me with a big question mark, that left me with a bad impression on the level of service. Not until you posted this up!
There’re so many things I’m dissatisfied with KTM. Now, the only times I have to take KTM is when there’s no other choice for my destination.
really? why i never noticed the gap is so big?
have to do something
I hate KTM service too. Agreed with you, KTM services is getting worst day by day, not getting better.
