Pantai Remis, Selangor
Pantai Remis is one of a beach on the western coast of Malaysia. There is in fact 2 Pantai Remis that is in existance in Malaysia, one is the one I’m talking about and another supposedly more famous Pantai Remis which is in Perak, Melaysia.
Pantai Remis Selangor is about 45 minutes drive away from Klang town and you’ll be passing by a few other towns like Rantau Panjang, Kapar and so on. Many years ago when I was in my teens, Pantai Remis did not bring much crowd because there was nothing much you could do there other than watching the sunset and strooling on the beach collecting sea-shells.
But now, things have changed and Pantai Remis Selangor have become one of the favourite spots in the state of Selangor, especially during weekends. On weekends or public holidays, Pantai Remis will be flooded with people as there are Food and Drink stalls being made available. If you’re bringing along your children, you can also purchase one of the kites that is there and since it’s windy most of the time along the beach area, you’ll have great fun playing with it. This also happens to be a great spot for fishing other that Tanjung Harapan. The type of fish you get here is Cat Fish and not many like to eat it, but the fun of catching one of this guys and trying to reel them to shore is amazing.
Pantai Remis Selangor is one of the good place to shot the sunset, but the timing must be correct. If it’s a rainy day, you’ll hardly get to see the sun. This happens to also be the spot that my dad loves to catch his fishes, is it easier for the fishes to get hooked. If you prefer something other than beach fishing, you can also rent one of the boats there to take you to a platform known as “Kelong” where you can get a better location to fish. The “Kelong” is sort of a hut that is built over the water about 2kilometers away from the shore. With minimal sleeping and toilet facilities, you’ll probably want to spend only a few hours on the “Kelong”. Will write more about this on another post.

I heard so much about this place but never been there before. Heard they have very cheap seafood
U got a freaking nice website
Need this when i move to Malaysia next time if Singapore sinks XD
@Kelvin, Thanks bro, you’re website is quite entertaining too, I love the comics.
Looks like a cool beach to take a day trip to. However I’m not in Malay
maybe next time.
I have heard about this place but have not been before, maybe my next trip to Ipoh, will stop by and take the scroll which sometimes I need for relaxation.
@Sarah, yeah, it’s not fantastic, but good enough to spend an evening. Where are you at the moment?
@Nava Yeah, you should. On a weekend would be the best because the stalls are available. Else it might be rather boring.
