One of my favourite dishes here in Malaysia is the Pork Noodles or in chinese is known as Chu Yuk Fun. Restaurant AH OR Chu Yuk Fun which is located in the center of Sunway Mentari was recommended by my fool loving buddy, Boon Chin. Our first food session together was when we checked out the Bah Kut Teh at Banlee Restaurant on Jalan Ipoh Kuala Lumpur.

Restaurant AH OR Chu Yuk Fun is quite easy to search. It’s about 5 minutes drive from the Kurnia building at the Federal Highway and LDP Highway intersection. The pork noodles that they offered was first located at a shared restaurant and with only one stall for themself at Restaurant EPL. After just selling for a couple of years, they became so famous that they could manage to move into a shoplot only selling Pork Noodles with they new name Restaurant AH OR Chu Yuk Fun.

You have an option to consume the Noodles with an option Mee (thick noodles), Mi Hoon (thin rice noodles), kuey teow or Lou Shu Fan (rats tale noodles). Being recommended to this restaurant, we had to try their large set. I requested for their Rice Noodle Pork Noodle Soup with added pork liver, intestine and porched egg. This only cost RM7. If you go for the Large pork noodle soup without the porched eggs, it cost RM6 and the small set cost RM5.30. One of the reasons why this Pork noodle soup us extra tasty is probably beacause they use crispy pork lard that is crunchy.

In terms of price it seems a little higher from what they used to charge, but I would drive up all the way from Klang to eat their Pork Noodles Soup again as it surely taste good. It was so good, that I had double share that day. Boon Chin is a regular customer here, and the aunty at the restaurant seems to recognise him already. According to this aunty, she comes from a long chain of very popular Pork Noodles shops. The Restaurant AH OR Chu Yuk Fun is open daily from 7am till 5pm in the evening.

So the next time you’re around Sunway Mentari area, do give them a try.
