Wedding & Travel Fair 2011 – Holiday Villa Subang

I’m 29 this year and I’m surely not sad that I’m still single but many have been asking when the big day’s going to appear? Probably not anytime soon. Looking at the people around me who are currently married, I don’t really see all of them being happy, there are always issues that they are having with their spouses etc. Infact, at this point, a marriage simply means a pre-divorce to me. My close friends tell me that I’m probably having a phobia from previous relationship, not close at all, I would rather say that the right person is not in sight yet.

With that being said, there is a special event that is being held for couples who are looking at getting married anytime soon. This event is simply called Wedding & Travel Fair 2011 and it’s being held by the Holiday Villa Hotels & Resorts group. This is their second year in organizing the event, if you missed the event last year, have a look at the interesting things that happed during the event which themed Travel & Bridal Fair 2010.

The Wedding & Travel Fair 2011 will be held at the same location as last year which is at Holiday Villa Hotel & Suites Subang Malaysia on the 2nd and 3rd of July 2011. Since it’s a weekend, you should bring your friends along and check out this event. Special discounts will be given to those who purchase wedding dinner sets on that day itself, so you’ll probably want to come on both days. There are also lucky draws for all visitors, regardless of whether you purchase anything or not.

Besides the Holiday Villa group other leading exhibitors include online travel agent, bridal wear designers, bridal houses,  stationeries, photography, videography, wedding cake specialist and other  services. There will be a Cocktail Reception from 4.00pm to 7.00pm on both days, a  bridal wear fashion show by  local designers, Calvin Thoo and Faizal Hamid, an exclusive wine tasting and a demonstration by  Make-up Forever.

A pre Bloggers gathering was also held on the 2nd of June 2011 to promote this event and I was lucky to be there to meet up with a bunch of fellow bloggers. Holiday Villa Subang was so kind to host the cocktail party and they event prepared a couple dressed in wedding attire, a musical crew and of course, delicious food.
